Ninebot back to 20 km/h? Here is how to reactivate.

You unlocked your Ninebot or Segway, and after switching it on again it is back at 20 km/h? With the Bluetooth upgrade this is by design.

What happens when you switch off?

According to the shop, the scooter first starts in 20 km/h mode again after every switch-off. The button combination described in the instructions restores full power in seconds.

How fast does it get?

Over 30 km/h instead of the limited 20 km/h. The top speed you can actually reach depends on model and firmware.

How unlocking works

  1. License code and activation link arrive by email.
  2. Open the link in a browser with WebBluetooth: Chrome on Android, Windows or macOS, on iOS e.g. Bluefy.
  3. Pair the scooter via Bluetooth and enter the code.
  4. Activate with the button combination on the scooter.
